Tinytax presentation issues
- It would be really useful if we could assign weights (or some other mechanism) to organise classifications. For instance, to ensure that 'insertae sedis' entries are put at the bottom of the list.
- When managing a moderately large classification (1000 items) it is vey difficult (on a Mac) to re-assign the parent for any given term.
- Can we add help buttons over the terms in the classification that say 'click here to expand the taxon' and click here to examine this taxon', or something like that?
- If the classification includes (some) ranks, e.g. "Class colpodea" then is it far less likely to get a hit in Yahoo.
- Can we include an export feature for the hierarchy in the parent-child format, so that the maintainer can use a database or spreadsheet tool for maintenance. At least until issue [2] above is addressed.
